Exploring Nature with Earth Kinder

Up2Us Landcare Alliance kicked off the last week of the school term with a delightful visit to Mansfield Kindergarten’s Earth Kinder program! Our first outing of the year took us on a nature-filled adventure around the beautiful Mullum Wetlands. With inquisitive four-year-olds leading the way, we explored the wetlands, read stories about local wildlife, and even had the chance to check nest boxes for some furry possum friends.

It’s always a joy to see the excitement and curiosity of the children as they learn about their local environment. These visits are a regular highlight for both Up2Us and the Earth Kinder program, taking place once a term throughout the year. Thanks to funding from the Victorian Landcare Grants, provided through the Goulburn Catchment Management Authority, we’re able to continue fostering a love of nature in the next generation.
