Mushroom Encounters

Native Pasture Identification and Management
Join us and Dr Meredith Mitchell for a day of native pasture ID and management. Topics covered include:
Native grass identification
Resilience of native grasses to drought
management of native pastures, particularly during droughts
The day will begin at MACE, followed by a site visit in Mansfield. Lunch and morning tea will be provided.
Ecological Monitoring on Farms - Dam Enhancements
Join Angelina Seigrist from Sustainable Farms and learn about the benefits of why's and how's of enhancing farm dams for increased production and biodiversity.
Explore a local beef farm and see where the knowledge has been put into practice.
Angelina will discuss techniques for monitoring and assessing dams to best understand your dam health and how it can be improved for the benefit of livestock and water retention on farm.
