Loving Our Eucs - A Year in the Life of a Eucalypt

A 12-month observation project, participants take a photograph each season, from the same position, of a Eucalypt in your paddock, garden or public space and send us here at Up2Us Landcare Alliance.

A seasonal picture will capture subtle changes to our Eucalypts that we may not usually notice, and to highlight the importance of protecting and preserving our eucalypts.

Nest Box Monitoring with Delatite Landcare Group

Community will have the opportunity to be involved in the ongoing monitoring of nest boxes in Rifle Butts Reserve. Training will be provided to the group to continue quarterly monitoring of nest boxes in the reserve to help build knowledge of what aboreral species are present.

Litter Audits of Fords Creek

Students from Mansfield Secondary College will be conducting quarterly litter audits at three points along Fords Creek. Students will learn about the importance of riparian health while promoting an understanding of waste management.
