Dirt Matters - Fungi and Soils with Alison Pouliot

Come and join us for an overview of the vital significance of fungi in soils and the important roles they play in providing soil architecture, retaining water, increasing nutrient availability and maximising ecosystem resilience. This is especially pertinent in the context of a changing climate.

This workshop includes an interactive and hands-on session around the specimen table followed by an exciting foray through the local forest to search for species of interest.

When: Thursday 9th June 2022 | 11:00am - 3:00pm
Where: Carters Mill Picnic Area, Sawmill Settlement
Cost: $20 per person, lunch inclusive.


Please wear weather appropriate clothing and closed in shoes. Lunch included. Option to purchase Alison Pouliot books at approx. $45 each. EFTPOS available. BYO Chair.
