The beginning of July heralds the start of Plastic Free July – a worldwide movement started in WA in 2011 whose vision is to have a world without plastic waste. Plastic Free July encourages people to be more aware of their plastic use and supports changing our behaviour to choose to refuse plastic especially single-use plastics such as plastic bags, coffee cups, straws and water bottles.
If you would like to choose to refuse plastic and take up the challenge have a look at the Plastic Fee July website http://www.plasticfreejuly.org/getting-started.html
