Feral Pig Control Project

Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) are currently undertaking a Feral Pig Control Project in the Tatong, Samaria and Strathbogie areas – refer to the attached flyer for more information and for a map of the project area. The purpose of the works is to decrease habitat destruction for a range of threatened flora and fauna species in these areas.

For those interested in what’s happening in your local area or if you are a landholder in the project area and have any information in regards to pig movements on the border with state forest or national park especially, it would be much appreciated if you could provide it to the contact on the flyer.

Having this information will be invaluable in assisting FFMVic in the placement of feral pig control methods.
