Upper Broken River Landcare group, Up2Us and Goulburn Broken CMA are uniting forces to provide the Mansfield public with quality and current information about pest animal management with a focus on deer.
On Thursday 1st of September from 5.00 to 8.00pm at MACE Mansfield, we will be having the opportunity to hear the most recent information on rights and responsibilities of private landholders in relation to all pest animals with a focus on deer.
Have deer been a problem at your property? Have you been visited by a hunter without giving him/her permission to access your property? Has your productivity been decreased by the number of deer present? Do you understand how you can take control of deer management on your property?
This information session will have presentation from the Victorian Police, Department of Envrionment Land Water and Planning as well as Agriculture Victoria and the Australian Deer Association. There will be short presentations with opportunity to have questions clarified within a context of our community working together to best manage this issue.
Come along and have your questions addressed. We look forward to seeing you there. Should you require any further information, please contact Kerstie Lee (Up2Us Landcare Facilitator) ph: (03) 57752770 or email: [email protected]
