Discover Mansfield’s Natural Treasure

Come and join us in the outdoors this holiday!  Landcare wants to help you start the holiday with a natural experience, so bring your walking shoes and outdoor clothing to enjoy a morning bushwalking in one of Mansfield’s natural treasure areas.  The walk will take you past a pristine creek and you will be able to learn about the milling history of the area.

We will meet at the Carter’s Mill car park on the Delatite River at 9.45am for a 10.00 start.  The walk is 3.5km one way and we ask that parents come along the journey with us.  We will have morning tea up at the ‘place of discovery/waterfall’ and then make our way back to Carters Mill where we will either have a BBQ lunch or a picnic which Landcare will provide.

Please bring your own morning tea and drink bottle, correct clothing for the weather (hats, sunscreen, rainjackets, walking shoes – no thongs)

Please book with Kerstie Lee so we can make sure we wait for you and have the right amount of food!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
