Blackberry Be Gone Field Day

Blackberry-Be-GoneWhen: Saturday 8th November, 10-12pm, morning tea provided on arrival.
Where: Hells Hole Creek Rd (right off Dry Creek Rd), Bonnie Doon—follow the Landcare signs.

Discussion:
In March 2014, Up2Us Landcare Alliance Weeds Coordinator, Cam Paterson trialed a variety of chemicals alongside Wet Blade technology to develop the best case scenario for managing blackberries.
This field day will:

  • Show landholders the difference in management between chemical and wet blade technology
  • Demonstrate the Wet Blade technology
  • Host a variety of herbicide application options

The morning will be spent outside and involve some walking over steep and uneven surfaces.

Please Bring:
Hats, Walking Shoes, Water, Sunscreen, Raincoats if weather looks bad.
