Friends of Mansfield Mullum Wetlands

Friends of Mansfield Mullum Wetlands Mansfield is a group of dedicated local people who maintain the wetland area for biodiversity and habitat outcomes to the local area.  The group formed in response to a need to maintain and develop the area with volunteer labour and grants alongside the Mansfield Shire Council. They also aim to have an asset for the community by having an aesthetically pleasing roadside and rail trail entrance to town, and provide an environment for people to use and enjoy

The Friends group now advises Council officers on management and maintenance issues as well as having occasional working bees on site.

Should you require further information or would like to be a part of a working bee here, please contact John Owen on [email protected]
